Hundreds of young people will soon have access to over 20 activities every night for just 50p per visit, as the construction of Croydon’s £6.5million Legacy Youth Zone nears completion.
Set to open officially on Saturday 7th September, Legacy Youth Zone is a charity which aims to provide young people aged 8-19 and up to 25 for those with additional needs, with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.
The charity is based on the unique OnSide model which brings together the local authority, the private sector, young people and the wider community in support of young people.
Located on Whitehorse Road, Legacy Youth Zone will include a state-of-the-art indoor climbing wall, four court sports hall, dance and drama studio, training kitchen, music room with recording studio, fully equipped gym, health and wellbeing room and much more, all available to members for just £5 per year and 50p per visit.
Young people who register as a member before August can enjoy free entry at Legacy from Monday 12th August – Friday 31st August.

The official opening carnival party will take place on Saturday 7th September from 11am until 3pm. Guests can take part in a wide range of fun and exciting activities including arts, sports, dance, music, media and much more, best of all entry on the day is completely free of charge.
