David Butler

David comes from a teaching background, having held two headships in different authorities, before working as an attached inspector in Surrey.  For over a decade he was a foster carer to many children, one of the hardest and most rewarding things he have ever done, and which he would strongly encourage anyone to consider.  A few years of running his own education consultancy eventually led to David coming to work for Croydon – a decision he has never regretted.  As a Croydon resident he believes this is a great place to both live and work.

In David’s spare time, he enjoys music, cooking, the theater and Crystal Palace, and spends each Saturday mentoring young people for a charity in north London.

Life is never dull!
