Three new senior management positions have been filled at Croydon’s Legacy Youth Zone including Head of Youth Work, Volunteer and Training Manager, and Business Operations Manager.
Legacy Youth Zone, which is due to open in Selhurst this summer, will be a safe and inspiring place for young people aged 8-19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs to enjoy their leisure time.
Ready to bring the Youth Zone to life and deliver a fantastic service for Croydon’s young people, Legacy’s Senior Management Team is now in place.
Head of Youth Work, Jerome Hughes, is responsible for leading the youth work team to success and creating an engaging programme of activities for young people. Jerome joins Legacy with over 12 years of youth work experience and is passionate about creating new opportunities for young people.
Ready to recruit an army of volunteers to support the charity is Lisa Scott, Volunteer and Training Manager at Legacy Youth Zone. Lisa is looking forward to working in the community to recruit a diverse team of volunteers, who will support Legacy to provide over 20 fun and engaging activities every night for thousands of young people.
Lee Roberts joins Legacy Youth Zone as the new Business Operations Manager, Lee will ensure all business administration needs are met, enabling the new £6.5million Youth Zone to operate smoothly.

The £6.5million Youth Zone will offer members access to an indoor climbing wall, 3G kick pitch, sports hall, dance and drama studio, music room with recording studio, training kitchen, arts and crafts studio, and much more, all for just £5 per year and 50p per visit.
A further 25 jobs will also be available over the upcoming months as Legacy looks to recruit activity youth workers to deliver activities for members.
