Our climbing wall is a great way to begin your rock climbing journey in the heart of Croydon.
We provide inductions for everyone joining, and you can enjoy an instructor led climb, or even try to see if you can beat the fastest time up the speed climbing wall.
There is no where else in Croydon where you can learn to climb for just 50p a visit, as part of your £5 annual membership!
Climbing is a sport that offers physical and mental challenges from the very first time you try them. It’s also accessible for everyone, from beginners starting off their fitness journey to advanced climbers.
We will teach you belay climbing, and speed climbing.
I learnt to climb whilst at Legacy, and you'd find me in this room most of the time especially on the speed climbing wall. I'm also able to help out as a Young Leader, to help the juniors start their climbing journey and see if they can beat my time - they haven't... yet!

Ensure you're wearing comfortable and light weight sports clothing including trainers or climbing shoes if you have them.
We provide a helmet which everyone climbing is required to wear.
